Erin andrews and maksim chmerkovskiy: Dancing With the Stars Videos

If Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy aren't a real-life couple, we're going to be kind of disappointed.

After Andrews was the first to be eliminated Tuesday (May 25) night during the first half of the two-hour "Dancing With the Stars" season finale, she gave perhaps the most moving goodbye we've seen all season -- and Chmerkovskiy followed with an equally (if not more so) heartfelt speech.

"This experience has meant everything to me," an emotional Andrews told co-host Brooke Burke. "I knew that [Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek] were going to go head-to-head in this, but I came here under really crummy circumstances, and I just wanted to get my life back together and my smile back and I just wanted to be myself again. And you guys have been amazing, [the judges] have and my family up there and [Maksim] has just put my life back together."

Then Tom Bergeron turned to Chmerkovskiy and said he looked "the most emotional he ever has," and then asked how this season has been.

"It was a roller coaster," said a clearly choked up Chmerkovskiy. "I think we both learned a lot about each other and ourselves, and I learned a lot about myself. It's been an amazing journey. I've come close before, but you know, this is obviously different. And I feel like we've won, and I certainly have."
